Looks like, author had applied my Spazer + Plasma patch without even reading the read me. I said it was unfinished and thus, v0.995 (not 1.0), but people still applying it without proper testing. And result is hacks with no Mother Brain or unbeatable Mother Brain, like in this one.

This hack was made in a hour or so, but still not bad because of this. It have permastucks, but challenge itself is fun.

It's impossible to beat this hack. Second underwater walljumping is impossible to perform because it's turning to regular walljumping after that. Or maybe it's possible for TAS'ers. I'm not sure.

This is what happens when making hacks using "quantity over quality" rule.
Just played it. Permastuck, tiling errors, wrong PLM usage (so you'll just pass through the blue door at some point), static spikes... So Many Errors for So Little Hack. It have only 4 rooms changed (and 2 more unchanged you can get into).
The battle itself is fun if you know how to evade Torizo properly. Touch him and you'll get instagib. But his hand attack is not mortal and you can recover energy from his orbs. Only because of this one, I give this hack 2 orbs.
And... it have logical ending. Just walk around and look for things that are changed and not looking mortal.
Hint: endgame BTS patch is used. You'll never guess where the exit is until you see it.

Though, this hack supposed to fuck my find, I found it pretty interesting at some places.
I liked so far:
Very contrast palletes in some areas (Crateria, Brinstar, Maridia);
Noob bridge room mystery;
"Secret revealed" room in Maridia. Laughed here so much...
Unusual item progression.
Currently get stucked near Norfair with Speed Booster. Will play from start next time.

This hack is a pure mockup of players. It was (unitentionally, I guess) made to make people anrgy. It's a really bad example of challenge hack. No one should make hacks like this.
You can get 5 Missiles and Morphing Ball almost from the start and get your way to Kraid. Sounds not bad for now, right? Well, you can stuck in 2 places in the way to Kraid.
Now for the battle. His HP is unchanged, so you just can hit him 10 times with Missile. And that's incredibly hard. What's the difficult, you're asking? You don't have High Jump Boots, so you must Wall Jump. A lot. A LOT. A LOT!!! You should do so to land on platforms and... these platforms are made of crumble blocks which are also graphically glitched. So you can hit Kraid only when he's going to the left enough, walljump, shoot him to make his mouth open, fall down, wall jump again, fire Missile and just hope that you won't miss. Oh, and I forgot. During this sequence you may be hit by SUDDENLY respawning claw in the top screen. So you must not only walljump, but also think of "don't get hit by claw". Author spent about hour or so to make the whole hack, I guess. But he could spent another hour to find the position of that damn claw and change the single bit to move it a bit and make everyone happy more or less.
Of course, you'll miss a lot of times and fall on spikes a lot, so you'll have to restore the ammo shooting claws and... another surpise. When you need Missile so much, you'll get energy. When you're sufferring from low health and shooting claws in hope to get energy ball just to survive, you often get... NOTHING. When you have enough health and ammo, Kraid is far from you. When Kraid is near to shoot him, you don't have Missiles or having not so much energy to risk. And such things are happening over and over until you finally beat him, lose your life of break your controller (if you even dare to play this). The choice is yours.
The more or less efficient technique that I just discovered is to shoot his belly when he's near, THEN starting walljumping in hope that there are no claws flying above you and shooting to his mouth. Exit is in the Varia Suit room.

Looks like, events in this hack are happenning in the same time that in hack Magaluf.
Also, don't play this when you're depressed. Seriously. You've been warned.

Super Metroid: Grapple Challenge by jailsonmendes [ Challenge],

I don't sure how to rate it.
A hack based on grappling. Finally. Grapple Beam is so underrated. With good palette and music choices. That's what I was thinking when started the game. It was fun. But then... there comes all these things I hate in hacks such as: static spikes, doors warping you to "destination unknown" like inside of hypercube, corrupting maps when travelling from area to area, untouched map though layout is changed like there is a dead end now, but map says I can proceed, scrolling sky error etc. I don't know what else I expected from that guy. Maybe that he will spent more than just few hours to make a hack. At least when releasing it on romchacking.net site.
Then I meet bosses. Boss battles are fun and easy. Really unexpected.
So, at first I was going to give it 4. Then I saw So Many Errors so I'd give it 2. I'd give 1 if there were permastucks. Then I liked the boss battles and played until the ending... until I saw a possibility to travel through whole unchaged vanilla world and collectings the items. I'd give 2.5 in total, but let there be 3.

The hack is not about avoiding permasucks. It's about getting stuck and escaping using X-Ray Scope. This is often used to get out of bounds to get max possible % in runs like NBMB.
Though, the hack is far prom perfect, I give it 2 orbs. There are just things to be practived for TAS'ers and playgrounds are needed for that.

This hack is based of not-so-well-known glitch when getting stuck in right position (see first pic) allowing you get unstucked and jump. No Morphball or X-Ray are needed.
Savestates are needed to get stuck right.

Very interesting route. Although, this is a half hack, I'd give it 4 orbs for its exploration expirience in vanilla game and how the boss battles were changed. But because of permastucks, only 3 orbs so far.

Samus should make her way to the dangerous UnderWorld. She must break through strong enemies and sometimes avoid everything to survive. The journey lead Samus to the deepest point of Zebes to simply get a chance to upgrade her suit...
This is how description should looks like.
First, I liked everything you did. Interesting route, no permastucks etc. But then some mistakes were re-appearing. Static spikes and slope placing, for example. Just in 2 rooms I saw. Not big, but this should be fixed. Then, you made new mistakes. For example, you removed item X from room Y completly. Then the map shouldn't display the dot in that sector like the item is still there.
Problem is not that you're making some mistakes. Everyone does.
Problem is that you "will not do that next time" or "fix it later" (without fixing, of course).
In general, yes, it's better than your previous works.
As for that hack... You've used space at $7B4B5 "because random" or acidently for scroll array of the room $7B585. Of course, it was corrupted the room $7B4AD, so you just throw that room out without even trying to fix it. It takes 2 minutes for me to detect it. Although, you could download hex editor, open your hack in it and see that there are A LOT of space for Scrolls in Bank $8F. Of course, if you're playing with vanilla.
So, remove all the bugs and I'll rate this hack as 4. At least, 3. Currently, I only can give a 2.

I liked almost everything that author did (although this hack is more like a playground for a new things). Stronger enemies acting as mini-bosses, animated parts in backgroungs, escape from powerful Mocktroids, nice palette choice. Battle with Torizo is a very interesting challenge.
I've passed it. Reaching well hidden Area 32 means "the end".
This hack is not completed and only have 2 areas so far, but I give it maximum. Please, finish it someday.

Not bad. Not good enough, but not bad.
This hack morph your balls from the very start and will hold it like that for the entire game. And you'll like it. A bit more hard that original game, so I'd give it Veteran difficulty.
This hack even have the boss battle and it's epic.

One more micro hack. It's 4 of them actually made in 2014. I tried to pass it and died several times. Then I passed the first room and SUDDENLY died again. And then I LOL'ed.
But, you should make timer display seconds and frames like I did for Green Peace. I had 00:12 too. Who was faster?
Oh, yeah. I did it. 11 seconds and 59 frames without any tools.

A great tribute to this tileset was made... but not in this hack.
1. Crys used backgrounds from other tilesets and combinated them with this one in Ice Metal.
2. Cloud15 used the cubes of this tileset as a base to make Digital Cube.
And... this hack is just a bunch of 1*1 rooms, with invisible spikes in some of them. Ending is at... Ceres.

I like most of you did so far. That introdution to Super Metroid, things like captured Evirs looks very promising.
Beat it. Got every item except Spazer and also 6 Energy Tanks, 2 Reserve Tanks, 37 Missiles, 10 Super Missiles and 3 Power Bombs. Though, it's imcomplete, it have logical end as creator said.
Few items were placed incorrectly, so you can freeze the game by using X-Ray in the room before Bomb Torizo or in the top left room of Zebes Canyon. You can fall through floor in that room too.
Despite of that and incompletness, I give it 4 orbs. For exploration and design.
Please, finish it someday.

Very incomplete. Used Project Base 0.6 as a base, so don't look at patch size.
Have map errors. When playing it, I always had the feeling that I'll enter the door and will stuck. Although, you can play it until Norfair without afraid of beign stuck. When you see "RK" initials, then the hack is "ended".

It called over Wet Dream, but it have nothing similar with it. Brand new hack with new graphics. A 3/4 hack. Play it and you'll understand.
GOOD:
Exploration.
A lot of hidden items. Almost every room have something to hide except for me and my monkey.
New graphics.
Tube door idea.
Unusual item progression.
BAD:
Unpolished. It have over 20 places in where you can stuck.
Lack of ammo in some areas. You'll have to use Power Bomb to proceed, but if you haven't, no enemy aroung to replenish it.
Respawning blocks appers where they shouldn't.
I'd give it 4 for explorarion and searching for the items, but due to unpolishing, only 2 so far. Sorry.
